31 August 2021

From 1 September 2021 Priston Church will be resuming its normal schedule of services, including a Family Service at 10am on the 1st Sunday of each month, and a BCP Service each Sunday evening at 6.30pm.

We will be allowing individuals to make up their own minds on measures to take with respect to Covid-19, and so will not be enforcing the wearing of face-coverings or social distancing.

Our Mission

Priston Parish Church is a caring rural Christian community reaching out to the village and beyond with God’s love, inspired by His example.

As a praying and worshiping community we endeavour to:

  • always be welcoming and inclusive
  • provide pastoral care for all members of the local community
  • work hard at outreach to all ages through social activities and having fun together
  • explore different styles of worship
  • encourage awareness of global needs
  • engage positively with charities and communities around the world.

As the body of Christ we look after a beautiful place of worship that provides for quiet prayer and contemplation and a sanctuary for reflection.

Our Community

Priston church forms a united benefice with St.Mary's Church, Timsbury, Camerton and Dunkerton.

The parish is in the Diocese of Bath & Wells, the Archdeaconry of Bath, and the Deanery of Midsomer Norton.
