Saturday 4 June 10.30am - noon - Photo Display/Bring & Show in the Village Hall

Photo exhibition

We are looking for photos from villagers under the loose theme of “Celebrating Priston”. Any photos which portray the essence of Priston, are of historical interest, have any royal connections, and/or simply have some connection with Priston and which you would really love to share with others will be welcome.

The photos will be included in a repeating slideshow which will be shown in the Village Hall. All photos will ultimately be published on the Priston Web and credited to the provider unless otherwise requested.

If you have any photos which you would like to contribute, then please email them to Richard Bottle at web@priston.org.uk ideally by 22 May:

  • photos in digital (jpg) format are preferred;
  • If you have any hard copy or slide photos you would like to contribute and you are unable to scan them yourself, we are happy to scan them on your behalf – just let us know;
  • photos should ideally be at least 1000 pixels wide. If sending photos from your phone please try to make sure they are not compressed when sending;
  • make sure any emails are less than 20MB in size in total or they may be rejected. If sending multiple photos, you may need to split over several emails. All emails will be acknowledged;
  • please indicate if possible the year the photo was taken, and a one-line caption.

Bring & Show

We would also like to have a Bring & Show table exhibition on the same theme of "Celebrating Priston". If you have any objects or documents you would like to contribute, then please let Richard Bottle, Owain Jones or Sue Hunter-Jones know in advance, ideally by 15 May, so we can plan the display.

If you are able to contribute to the photos or to the “Bring & Show” please do so, and help make the weekend something to remember!
