It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that our Queen has died.

The union flag will fly on the church at half mast and the church bells will ring muffled.

Message from Priston Church

I know we are all deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. In the light of this, St Luke and St Andrew's Church, Priston will be open (as it is everyday) for quiet, prayer and remembrance tomorrow, Friday 9th September from 9.30 am and again on Saturday 10th September.

All are welcome to come and go as they wish. I will be there for some of the time, but obviously I need to be in 5 parishes at the moment.

Our service on Sunday will be led by myself, as we have cancelled the clergy swap and the service with be one of thanks and reflection for Her Majesty's life.

There will of course be more formal services across nation and more locally in days and weeks to come.

I am available to pray with anybody at this time.
