Saturday 24th July. The day started well with bright sunshine and by 12.30 the Ring o' Bells echoed to the chatter of 38 pupils and guests, many of whom had not met for over 50 years or more.
Then came disappointment when we learnt that pupil Ron and his wife had been involved in a car accident at Stonehenge on their way to Priston from Haslemere, but the good news was that they were uninjured. However, Ron had had all the name tags, so Christine came to the rescue with handwritten sticky labels!
At 1.00 pm Ben, the landlord, had prepared a feast to behold: the tables groaned with a huge variety of delicious food - no-one would leave hungry. At around 2.30 pm we adjourned to the Village Hall (our old school much improved) where Tim Hughes had assembled Priston memorabilia, with photos, books etc Finally ar 3.00 pm pupils assembled outside the school for a photocall, followed by our farewells to end the school reunion, with many commenting "When can we meet again?".Many thanks to those attending, and all who helped make the day such a success.
